		<description>Great post Colin. I use a cool product called a duet for my voice overs. It is a breakout box so I can even add other mics and inputs. It works well with FCP and GarageBand. I would strongly suggest you check it out.

Then you have established a duration in which your voice over can be recorded and you don&#039;t need to have media present.  You can record multiple takes without the hassle of muting or disabling additional audio tracks with other media.
So many ways to skin a cat, eh?
